Faridpur Superintendent of Police (SP) Md Abdul Jalil said that the ongoing recruitment in Faridpur district police will be done on the basis of merit in a transparent manner.
Faridpur Superintendent of Police said this at a press briefing at the conference room of the office of Faridpur Superintendent of Police yesterday morning.
The SP said that during the recruitment of police, a group of brokers try to extort money by giving misleading information to the people. He requested to inform the police as soon as the fraudsters are found.
He said that if any candidate is involved in any kind of financial transaction, the arrest and appointment will be canceled. Moreover, if any false or incorrect information is provided in the application form, the candidate will be considered ineligible for appointment.
Faridpur Additional Superintendent of Police Sailen Chakma, Kotwali Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md Asaduzzaman, Faridpur Press Club President Kabirul Islam Siddiqui, members of Faridpur Press Club and journalists of different media were present at the press conference.
It is to be noted that physical size, document verification and physical test will be held on October 25, 26 and 27, written test on November 12 and psychological and oral examination will be held on November 19. It is learned that 56 people will be appointed in Faridpur district in the ongoing recruitment process.
